Maudach Waterworks TWB II Waterworks II

Projektinformationen
On behalf of Technische Werke Ludwigshafen (TWL), the refurbishment of a 6,000 m³ drinking water reservoir was carried out between September 2024 and October 2025. The works included surface preparation using high-pressure water jetting, followed by the installation of precast concrete jackets (Ø 60 cm) around 16 asbestos-contaminated columns (Ø 30 cm) with a finished surface. In addition, the ceiling (1,320 m²), walls (530 m²) and floor (2,050 m²) were coated with a purely mineral, microsilica-modified sprayed mortar. The project also included the replacement of the access door, the DN 700 inlet, DN 900 outlet, DN 100 drain and the DN 300 overflow system.
