Reservoir Zentrale West
Project Information
On behalf of Hardwasser AG, the renovation of the Central West reservoir, which comprises two water chambers with a usable capacity of 3,000 m³ each, was carried out between June 2016 and August 2018. The scope of services included extensive protective measures, substrate preparation using solid blasting and the renovation of damaged areas. A new mineral coating was applied to an area of 6,500 m², supplemented by the production of 530 m of edge formwork, corrosion protection work on the pipelines and final cleaning and disinfection. A special feature of the project was the structure with main and reaction chambers and the professional demolition of asbestos-contaminated materials in accordance with TRGS 519.
