Gerthe Water Tower, Bochum






Project Information
From April 2018 to March 2019, Gelsenwasser AG commissioned the renovation of the Gerthe water tower in Bochum. The structure has a usable volume of 7,000 m³ with a diameter and height of 30 m each. The scope of services included scaffolding, substrate preparation using high-pressure water jets and various renovation works. Finally, a purely mineral and microsilica-modified coating was applied to 2,600 m² of wall and 700 m² of floor space.
