Sports hall Feldbergschule, Mainz, Germany
Project information
On behalf of the city of Mainz (Mainz Building Management), the energy-efficient renovation of the sports hall at Feldberg School in Mainz was carried out in spring 2022. The project covered an exterior facade area of 1,250 m² and 328 m² of ceiling area.
The scope of services included the installation of a composite thermal insulation system (ETICS) using mineral wool insulation boards with a thickness of between 140 mm and 300 mm. The system was applied directly to the concrete facade and finished with a 2 mm thick textured plaster coating as the final surface protection.
