Repair of the BAB A60 Mainz-Finthen bridge






Project information
On behalf of the State Mobility Agency Montabaur (LBM), the bridge on the A60 motorway in Mainz-Finthen was repaired between June 2015 and July 2016 at a project cost of approximately €1.5 million. The extensive work included traffic safety measures, demolition of the caps, road surface, and safety equipment. This was followed by the construction of new caps, including sealing, various road construction works, and concrete repairs to the bridge soffits. A special feature of the project was the parallel concreting of two bridges and the professional demolition of asbestos-contaminated materials in accordance with TRGS 519.
